Adrienne Barbeau

  Adrienne Jo Barbeau, born on June 11 1945, is an American actress, singer and author. She rose to fame in 1970s Broadway as Rizzo on Grease and later as Carol Traynor (played by Bea Artur) on Maude (1972-1978). In the year 1980, she began acting in science fiction and horror films, such as The Fog (1980), Escape from New York (1981), Creepshow (1982) as well as Swamp Thing (1982). She was most well-known for her role as the voice of Catwoman in Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995) as well as later animated series. In the early 2000s, she was voiced by Ruthie in the HBO series Carnivale.
